Who We Are
At Compassionate Therapy Center, we provide a warm, compassionate, and authentic therapeutic space for clients to explore meaning, cultivate acceptance, and recognize their own unique strengths, by embracing diverse identities and advocating for social justice. We are welcoming and affirming of clients of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds, gender identities and expressions, sexual orientations, and religious/spiritual beliefs.
Utilizing humanistic, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), mindfulness-based, and other therapeutic approaches, we provide sessions for individual adult (18+) clients and couples. Sessions are 50 minutes, and are offered on a weekly basis at regularly scheduled times. From the beginning of our work, we collaborate to identify your goals and obstacles. Depending on your needs, we will introduce new skills, provide alternative perspectives, and help you to recognize areas of resilience, strength, and resources that you bring. Topics we discuss can vary each week, and no two sessions will be exactly the same.
